Its the light of day

I wondered who died in the family of a friend when I saw condolence messages. I found out later that her younger sister had committed suicide.
My heart was deeply moved for her family. What makes a 26yr old lady have courage to take her own life but doesn't have courage to face another moment of the day. I would never know and neither would you.
Yes, life can be overwhelming sometimes and even hopeless at other times. But one thing I know for sure 'no condition is permanent' and this too must pass. You would see the light of day if you can just take it one moment at a time rather than taking on too much.

This comes back to my previous blog of 'I am fine'. Hmmmm
I am sure she might have said that sometimes. Yes, she did say she was depressed, but sometimes we need someone to take out the time to ask and really listen.

Have you been in touch with that one person this month? Let's reach out and hold someone's hand real tight and you would soon find out that someone is reaching out for yours.

There is the light of day at the end of your tunnel, I promise its not the headlights of an oncoming vehicle coming to take you out. Its hope for right now. 

This too shall pass, be encouraged and stand just till the next moment. Soon enough, you would find out that you have made it. You are a winner! 

It is well with us all.

Child Education

Wow, its been a minute! Had all kinds of things going on at once. I think the worst was my laptop crashing. We made a few changes in my first child's education recently and I was amazed at some of the reactions and feedback I got. I am surprised as to the lack of common knowledge amongst us first time parents. I been one of them, now I am asking so many questions from everyone. We need to talk more amongst our close group of friends that have children in the same age group and find out what learning standards are out there for  them. I know we don't generally like to compare our children but its important to compare the standards they are receiving especially in school and the like. Its important to do before its too late so as to make any recommended changes no matter the cost. If you don't pay now, you would most definitely pay later.
